In the story of the doll's house we learned that the women cannot borrow the money for other men without their husband know, and we also figure out that Nora broke the rules to save her husband that was ill. That situation has connection with the book 1984 in 1984. people were not allowed to show their feeling for anyone, it means they couldn't have relationship. But there a couple that break the rules because they care and they love each other Would you break the rules like that to save some one that you really care or love so much ?

I'd say yes if I have like a strong relationship with someone that I really like, In my opinion showing how much you and care about someone is not wrong and is not even crime, I also think that Nora did a great breaking rules to save her husband, maybe she really loves Trovald.

Yea me too Delmany (: I would break the rules to save someone that I really care about and love so much. If I had a relationship that deep, serious, and strong, I would definetly go for the extreme.

Of course I would. Just because you break a couple of laws, that doesn't make you an immoral person. I would gladly break it if it meant saving my family or friends' life or helping them out. If it were an issue of killing someone or breaking my moral code to save someone, that would be a whole different situation. But I don't think I would care to break a few laws for the sake of those I love.

I would probably. If my mom is sick and we dont have the money, i would do a lot of things that is legal or illegal. I just have to get the money, and usually illegal jobs depends on bigger money so bigger income. I would do anything for my family

Yes i would do anything for the person that i really cared for and i can die for them. I will do anything that the world could offer if that is what it takes to save or protect the one that i cared for.

It depends on the laws that I am going to break. I would break minor rules or rules that don't harm other people, like breaking or stealing things, or fraud, in order to save my friends and family. But if the rules involve murdering other people or it involves their lives, then I would consider about it.

I agree with Jessica. It definitely depends on the rule that I am going to break. If I get caught with fraud or something just as serious, I feel like I would be making the situation worse. There would be more problems than when you didn't commit a crime. But I would do all the other things I can to make things better.

hmmm, looking at everyone else responses, I don't know what could be worse. I know that if I lived in a society like the one in 1984 I would break the rules. I mean, I don't have anything to loose, do I? And in a society like Doll House, even more if it means Ill just get a few dirty looks.

I would do it. thunderstorm would never stop me. I salute her when she broke the rules just to save someone she really loved. Thats some sacrifices right there! Just because she is a woman, that doesnt mean she wouldnt fight for what she want. just like a mother, a mother would fight for her son, no matter what it takes.

I would break the rules for someone who I truly love, only if that was the last choice I had. But I wouldn't do something really serious like murder because that would haunt me for life. Furthermore, Nora could have easily avoided commiting fraud by just telling her father the truth and making him sign the contract. I think it wasn't nessesary to forge the signature. Nora's father was going to die anyways so Helmer would have never found out about it through him.

yea i would break the rules to save people that's important to my life. but it depends, like if the person that i love did something really bad and he/she deserves to be punished i couldnt help it. but if the problem like what happened in the story of the doll's house, i will break the law just like what Nora did to her husband. im agree with what julie said, just because you break some laws doesnt mean that you are an immoral person, especially the law was really stupid, why she couldnt borrow money from other man? she gonna pay it back anyway soo, i will do whatever it takes to save the person that i love

I think I will break the rules in order to save the person I truly care and love. I cannot just ignore them or something, that would be a heartless thing to do. If I were Nora, I would have done the same thing, committing a fraud, to save my husband from the sickness if that is what I can do to save him. However, I would rather choose to take a more positive way to save him if there is one.

I would break rules to help someone that is important to me. I don't think that breaking rules to save someone that you love or care about is immoral. I actually think that standing by and watching that person just suffer because the only way to help them is to break rules is immoral.
