I would rather focus on my life I'm living in today because whatever I do in my life here on earth is gonna determine my outcome of how my afterlife will be. I would want to dedicate my life to having fun and being good because if I were to focus on my afterlife, I would probably spend my life on earth stressfully because I would always worry about preparing for it. I think it really depends on the religion because as a christian, I know all i need to have a really sweet afterlife is by being a true christian.

this question is pretty interesting since i as a muslim, believe if theres afterlife. so, if i have to decide, of course i want to enjoy and live my life to the fullest as i could. as long as i didnt break the God's rule. hehe cause i believe that everything in afterlife will be so much better in here, hopefully. but yea, as an ordinary teenager i want to enjoy my life hehe, thats why im not ready to die right now cause i think i might go to hell afterlife. lol

It depends on individuals belief. If one believes in afterlife and believes for sure that there really is one, it is worth preparing for that afterlife which would last forever since our present life would be a couple of seconds when compared to afterlife. However, even if I had believed in the Afterlife, I wouldn't spend like a decade in preparing for my death, but instead of preparing marterial and physical stuff, I would have mentally and spiritually prepared it so that I would not wast my current life.

I do believe in afterlife. I must say, I would rather focus on the afterlife than the life i am living today. I would focus on the life i am living today to get what im expecting in the afterlife. based on Muslim's holy book, it says that life on this universe is temporary.

I think that focusing primarily on the afterlife is not a smart thing to do. I personally would also concentrate on the time given to me now, because there has to be something important for me to achieve while I'm on this earth. Why not make the most out of your time? I believe that you should not live in the future, but in the present. Yes, prepare for the future, but be aware that the present is the present.

Since the belief in afterlife is part of their religion which they strongly believed and even a part of their culture, I think I would focus more on afterlife. If you believe something that strongly wouldn't you do your best to get there? Even though it seems like a waste of time to people who don't really believe in it, it wouldn't be for those people who believe in it.

in my own opinion we should be focusing on the life we are living now. the first things that we should be doing first is the "present" stuff. why should we focus on the after life? it is a good thing if you feel good now, if you do good things now and if you have good things now!

For me, I think I would focus more on the afterlife because as a Christian I believe that afterlife lasts for eternity while life here will end eventually. However, this doesn't mean that I don't try to enjoy my life here and make the best out of it. Even if I think that my afterlife is more important that doesn't mean that I think my life here doesn't matter. I want both stages of my life to be good. Also, since the Egyptians thought that what they were doing was for their afterlife which they put heavy emphasis on, I don't think they wasted their lives. They were just doing what they thought was the best and worked their hardest at it. It might look like they wasted their lives to us but to them, they were doing what they were supposed to do.

I think it all depends on our beliefs. In my opinion, since I believe in the afterlife, I think that I should devote some of my life into preparing for my afterlife. But the big difference between the Egyptian belief and mine is that I don't have to make a tomb or do any materialistic preparations for me to go into the afterlife. Also, my belief states that my body and everything that I own in this life will be left behind when i pass away. If you could guess already, I'm talking about christianity . It's interesting to see how the afterlife is a universal belief, but every culture and religion has a different approach to it.

I really think it is not necessary to think about the afterlife. Just like most of the adults used to said, life is short. There are so many things you can, or want to do. You can't just go for the part that can't be known. I would definetly care more about the life that I am living today.

I think I would focus on my life today rather than dedicate all my life for a paradise that may not even exist. It seems a bit extreme to throw away everything you have for something that is so vague.

i would choose the life after death because, you may not know whats us there and you might have the power to roam the earth and fly around. this is what i have imagined when i am dead.
