I don't recall directly, but this is what Aron says to Hancock when he and his mom visit him in Jail with the Spaghetti for Hancock. In my opinion, I think that this event was a revolutionary event for Hancock because he finally had people or maybe a small group of people who cared for him. He was always despised by everyone and that changed after this and after he met Ray. He stayed in the prison which was something that he really did not want to do at first.
So, have u ever met anybody that was influential? Has the person/friend motivated you to do certain things that were rigorous and not so desirable? Did the person change you in anyway?
Being born as a non-christian, I never really knew about Christianity. My parents were supposedly christian but lacked dedication and knowledge about the religion. As my family started to attend churches, I got a better idea about the ideology of Christianity and other aspects, but I wasn't heavily motivated to be a dedicated Christian. It was only after I met my best friend Jiham Lee that I began to gain some insights of what a Christian ouught to be. So yeah, that was my influential/best friend.

I guess my parents... When I was in Australia, I didn't care about my grade because I was boarding school and my parents were in Korea. But my parents thought that leaving me behind in AUS was hard for me and I thought of that as well. They brought me back to Korea because I could be safer and they could care of me. After that moment, I came to Kent and.. yea ;D

My best friend is a great motivator. He motivated me to play football (or whatever american call it) and we also had a plan to play in the same european football club in the future, he made this plan when we were younger. every time i get injured, he cheered me up, stayed beside me, and talked about our plans in the future. it was a good times..

I think my sister is the greatest motivator in my life. She always gives me advice whenever it seems like I'm going to the wrong direction. She also shares those experiences that she had in America so that I wouldn't have narrow mindset before I graduate highschool. She constantly tells me all those important life lessons she had learned in college and they really help me to decide what I want to do or will do in college. So yea, my sister is the greatest motivator of my life.

A lot of people changed me. Nicole had a great influence on me when it comes to getting over my fear of water. I had a traumatic experience when I was five. I almost drowned, and from that day I started to tremble when I even thought of getting inside a pool. Nicole told me that water is nothing to be afraid of, and she kinda forced me to join the swimming team. (Despite the fact that I was only a manager). I thank her for pushing me to get over my fear, and I miss her alot!

Many people influenced my life, especially friends. Most of the people spend time with friends rather than their parents. I also spend more time with friends than family. I usually get motivated by friends in games, study, and sports. For example, if we played sports together, I might want to be better than any friends or win them because there is only two outcomes win or lose. Therefore, my friends are those who influenced me the most.

When I lived in the states, I had a friend named Alex who influenced me greatly. We met at church so he motivated me to become closer with God. He would tell me to read the Bible daily even though it was really difficult to do. So he changed me to be God-centered. Now, I study hard and love others for God.

My hero is probably my foster brother. When i was in America he was a very big part of my life. He never hesitated to help those less fortunate than him and took pride in it.

I think the thing that most influenced me was my KKFS soccer team. When I first joined the team, not only it was first time playing soccer, I wasn't so good at it. but as I spent time practicing with other teammates, they motivated me to become a person who want to be good at it. Then I started to practice everyday, wanting to become actually part of the team. I think it was great motivation for me because I love soccer right now.

My grandmother could be one of the influential people for me. I lived with her until I was 5 years old. I truly remember some parts of the memories when I lived with her. Imperceptibly, I almost hundred percent copied her personality. I don't know if it's good or bad though.

I had a tutor named Joan who taught me English when I first went to California. Since it was my first time learning English, I wasn't good at it but she taught me with great care. Also she was the first person who influenced me to read my first novel written in English. She motivated me greatly and because of her now I can understand the language and American culture better.

I would say my oldest friend who i know for 12 years and i would say without him it would be difficult for me to get over all the situations that i am going through right now. Eventhough we are far away we meet every 6 month and whenever we meet we are feeling the same emotions and feel like just as we met yesterday. He made me move forward and still we are best friends and i am really thankful about it.

My church pastor has influenced me in many ways to be someone that I wouldn't have been without him. He was always there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to, and he made in clear that he really cared for me and loved me. I wasn't in a needy situation, but I think I can still consider him my "favorite hero" because of the influence he's given to me. He's also helped me to avoid things that would've been really harmful and things that would've wasted a lot of my time. He gave me great advice every time I needed it, and I really appreciate his help and guidance
