Did you guys enjoy hamlet over the weekend?
i kind of did. The seats were uncomfortable and made me have a flat
bumb after three and a half an hour.
anywaysssss my favourite actor in this play is polonius !! he was real cute!! reminded me of jw he made audiences to get in to it
also i loved how the stage set.
it was really simple but had many ways to set different scenes.
what are your favourite part of Hamelt?

I liked how the actors from the play, A doll's house, that we went to watch the other day were there. I immediately recognized Claudius, who was Torvald and Guildenstern, who was Mrs.Linde from doll's house. It was good to see the play rather than reading the script.

i have not seen the play with you guys.. but in a seperate time i watched it and as a reflection towards it, my view on the story changed, it is different than the play, and i could focus on each character feelings, individual problems, and overall theme

I also liked that there were two actors from Doll's House. Claudius was a weird husband just like Torvald, but Guildenstern was really different from Mrs. Linde. Another thing I liked was the play that Hamlet gave to the actors. I liked how the actors seemed to be acting, controlled by a doll handler. The most unexpected thing was that the handler was the ghost of Hamlet's dead father, who later frightened Claudius.

The play was honestly too long for me. I know there's a lot to cram, but 3 hours and a half was too much. Other than that and the bad seats, it was pretty interesting. I liked seeing other people act out a play that I thought was really boring on paper.

my most favorite part would be polonius because he is so funny as the character because his action or behavior is like a child talking to adults. so funny XD

My favorite part was also Polonius. I liked their interpretation of Polonius and I think it really spiced up the play.

My favorite part of the play was when the ghost showed up. I cracked up because he looked like he was going to strut down the runway. The sunglasses and the fur coat really completed his fashionable look. Plus, the ghost was extremely tall like a model. When I read the play, I expected a person with a white or black cloth draped over him.

It was really frustrating to sit in an uncomfortable seat for like 4 hours and the place was realllly crowded so that made it worse. i couldn't really focus to the play because of the seat. Also, I don't know why but the place smelled bad...I don't know if it was because it was underground...? I don't think I would want to watch any play in that place again though.. I liked Polonius too haha he was the funny one:)

I also liked the play but some of the scene was little boring honestly. Maybe as the seats were uncomfortable, it made me tired. However, the way play was made was very interesting with Guildenstern as a girl. Also Polonius was very cute with walking stick and his voice and reaction toward hamlet.

I agree with everyone that the Hamlet play was very long. I mean, the seats were uncomfortable and plus it was quite warm. However, I liked this version. First, Guildenstern was a girl and she was very cute in the play.

I think the the best part was the acting. It was intense and very realistic, especially Hamlet and Ophelia. Ophelia almost made me cry from how sad and tragic her story was. I also really liked the part with the players. It was not at all what I envisioned it to be. They're very talented actors and I really enjoyed it. There were some parts that were a little slow but for the most part it was interesting.

I didn't watch the play, but my favorite part in Hamlet is the part when Hamlet is walking to his mother's chamber and he sees Claudius praying. That moment, when Hamlet is about to kill Claudius, Hamlet's monologue shows us multiple sides of himself. During this scene, we see his anger and his rage, but we also see his teenage, vulnerable and hesitant side.

Except the uncomfortable seats, I think that actors did pretty good job in interpreting the characters from Hamlet. I also really like Polonius because he was so different from that Polonius from the script we read. He had more humour and was more innocent than in the script. He stood out. It was just like Midsummer Night's Dream, where I did not think that King Oberon (JW) would be the one, who would stand out among all the characters.

i loved Ophilia's crazy acting so much. That's exactly what i was portraying in my mind when we red Hamlet in class, and she did it accordingly to what i imagined so good job to her. Hamlet's crazy part with his mother towards the end of the play was awsom as well.
