Since we are all working for our Project, i think this topic is very relevant. Whenever we want to make something good, we try our best to make it "Creative". What is your definition of "Creativity?"

Why is Creativity so important in modern day society?

I think creativity shows true intelligence. Anyone can present generic information but it takes true passion and intelligence to come up with something original. Creativity also means that you're impressed with your own work. As in, you're not just turning in something that you know the teacher would like. You're working for your own self and reveal your true potential.

Creativity is forming something that is fresh, extraordinary, and shrewd. Being creative for our project is important because teachers do not want to see the same old. They want to see a project that goes beyond what is expected and blows them away. Plus, in society, creativity is a character that is required in many different professions. Writers, designers, scientists, inventors, artists, dancers, actors, musicians, chefs, and event coordinators all need creativity.

Creativity is something that is different from other people. I can show my creativity through my art work. I love graffiti that i sometimes go out and just show my emotion through my graffiti. I can say that it is creative because no one can make same work as mine, but only i can create that art work. I really want to be creative but it is hard. I watned to take art class, but my parents did not let me do so...

I think that creativity is this idea of being extraordinary and unexpected. We describe it as being "new" and "fresh" because we never saw it coming. A formal presentation with the power point and a regurgitation of a concept is not creative because it was expected. However, some presentations that grasp the audiences' attention and surprise them genuinely is what makes creativity seem so good for a project.

I think because right now in our society there is a million things and ideas than have been used or created. so Being creative is hard to define due to the environment and the influence that we all have. But we still can be creative in many ways even if you did the same thing again.

Creativity is the rebel of tradition. It is an expansion of intelligent. In short, creativity is an innovative and creative idea. It not only shows the self-identity but also attracts peoples attentions.

Well my definition of creativity is that when you create or being unique from other people or other people's idea. Creates a 'one in a million' idea from a million people. You could be creative in many ways such as sport or an artist. When you create something good and different, it worth more than you thought~

Creativity is something original. Or maybe it is taking something that is not original but transforming it, in a way that it is unique and therefore creative.

Creativity is making something that people can see and immediately feel something. And I don't mean just aesthetic side, because by that thought things like Transformers (the movie) would be considered unique and creative. But something that people can see and feel some sort of change. That after reading a book or watching a movie they can look back at it and have the same feeling, emotionally and spiritually. ( I know that sounded highly pretentious, but I could figure out another way to say it :/)

Creativity is the real ability one can have. It's something that does not come from solid informations. Creativity comes from experience and intelligence. I would define creativity as original;something that no other person could think of, and something no one tried. Creativity is not just imagining and thinking about it but also using it or applying it.

I agree with Cesar. I think being creative means being original; you are the one who first created something. But I think being creative is so hard since people tend to think the same things. Whenever I came up with something that I think it's interesting and new, I could easily find out that there exist similar things already. So because it is hard, it is also so important to create something totally new that people haven't seen before. I think this is how we develop ourselves, showing and making teachers to be wowed.

i think creativity is something thats different or unique from others..something that surprises others. Thats why it needs your own idea or thought to be creative cuz everyone has different thoughts. we can't be same. i guess people tend to follow each other nowadays than before so creavitiy is important

Well, creativity is something people need in order to succeed. I think creativity is what distinguish the difference between ordinary person and extraordinary person. I can also call creativity is originality, one of my friend loves this expression, because once you make something that can be called creative, it means it is completely new. I think creativity is important as knowledge. Real success come from one's creativity. People like Steve jobs, Leonorado Davinci were people with true creativity.

I think creativity is the ability to do things that other people cannot do. This is important in our society, because today's society is very competitive. In order to survive, you will need to stand out and prove that you are different and better. Also, everybody is same these days. Therefore, difference through creativity should be respected.

I think creativity is something that deviates from the norm. It is different and it is something or a quality that distinguishes it from others. I think that difference comes from creativity.
