I would like to say that I would fight but I wouldn't know for sure since I'm not in that position. However, I think it makes sense to fight since they believed that you can't escape destiny. So it will be better to die as someone that was brave than as someone that was scared and tried to run from death.

If I were Hector, I would fight for my country and family even I know that I will die soon. Since in ancient Greek culture, destiny is so important, I would prefer to fight as best as I can. If I know I will die soon, I will first not fear to go out to fight with enemy as I know I will die, so I will just go out and fight even though enemy is coming to me. However, for me, I don¡¯t believe destiny, every person have a choice and they are making their own decision, so there nothing like destiny to die.

If I am from that culture, I would be believing in destiny . So if I was Hector, whose destiny was decided that he will be killed by Achilles, I would continue to fight. Also even if I did not believe in destiny, I will continue to fight because the war is for my own country and it would be a great honor to die for my own country.

If i had a destiny to die either wAy, i would of course die with pride. Even when i die there would be memors for me. But if i dies with fear and tried to run away, people would probaly not respect me because i did not fight for the people

Once you know you are dead, you are dead. From then on wards, yap, I would still continue to fight for my nation, defend against anything that comes in between me and my nation. It would be my pleasure to die as a hero rather than a coward and my people would know that there was once a hero who saved the nation from falling into the wrong hands.

I agree with the people that say they would fight as best they can because they know they are going to die anyways. Since I know that I'm going to die in the battle, I would do everything that I can do to help my country and my family before I died. I would be scared, but I would accept my fate but do the best that I could before I died.

Hector honestly must have not believed in destiny all that adamantly because if he knew for 100% he was going to die, he would not have gone to war in the first place. I believe that there is not such thing as destiny because if destiny chose who we are the second we are born, our lives would have no meaning whatsoever.
