If I were Ophelia, I wouldn't really just go listen to my father. However, I would still like to know what he thinks like that because he might actually have some good reasons. Sometimes, adults, with their mature mental judgment, see something that we teenagers can't. If my father doesn't like a particular guy, it means that there is something that makes him feel uncomfortable. Therefore, I think I would think twice before I do something.

It is such a hard question to answer. If i were Ophelia, i will not listen to my father and give up my love. Even though i know listening to my father is important and he is right most of the time, but when love is involved, i will do what i want to do. However, if my daughter dates someone i do not like and she does not listen to me, it will be heartbreaking.

Well as I have mentioned before, I do agree that Ophelia should not listen to what polonius is saying and I haven't sate why. It because tell this story to polonius could make things worst such as hamlet acting expressing extreme anger..

I think if my mom tell me so, i wouldnt just breakup right away but i would rethink about the relationship. My mom like like my closest friend and also my older sister. I tell her everything that happens to me and she always gives me an advice. So if she tell me to rethink, then i would. I think obeying your father is something more important in the case of Ophelia compare to those teenagers about there. Ophelia adore her and respect her dad so much
