I believe both nature and nurture work on a child. I guess girls and boys around age 1 or 2 are not really affected by social conditioning, and the experiment shows that they react differently to their crying mothers. It shows that girls and boys are naturally different. I also strongly believe that society plays much role in shaping girls and boys-girls tend to be empathetic and boys tend to be cool because society taught them that's how they are supposed to be. However, I saw a lot of exceptions to this norms. I also believe gender does not necessarily prevents girls from understanding boys. I think it is difficult to understand one another, regardless of gender, because everyone is different and thinks differently.

Generally, I think girls and guys have different ways of understanding and sharing emotions. I think it makes sense because of the different hormone levels. I see a lot of guys who are more straightforward in their opinions and what the other person did wrong. Moreover, girls tend to be more emotional with everything. But there are always going to be exceptions. There are feminine guys who are very sensitive and emotional and can't handle being told they did something wrong. Also, there are masculine girls who is more blunt and logical then emotional.

I agree that guys look more for advice than finding someone who can cry with. By contrast, I agree that many girls look for friends who can cry with than friends who just give advices. This can be reason why man and women couples fight each other. Also I want to state that there are always exception because every people tend to change depending on their surroundings so, I think there are always exceptions.

I think thats pretty obvious that boys and girls understand each other differently because they have different idea of understanding. other than the different sex, the personality applies a lot in this situation as well. It all depends on the mindset that people have and by have different thoughts, it divides the category

I think boys and girls are different, however, I think it is wrong to make generalizations. I think it always depends on each individual and their environment and the way they were raised. This video did not test every single girl on the planet. I do think some girls are very emotional but some guys are emotional too. I think it will be so hard to live as a women though. Thankful that i am male.

I think this is more of an experiment on genetics rather than cultural differences since this is at an extremely young age. This shows that boys, throughout the generations have been taught not to be so sensitive, and this influence became so imprinted inside the individual that it became a part of a gene for a boy to be less sensitive compared to girls. Girls on the other hand are genetically more sensitive (in general) compared to guys.

Boys and girls are meant to be different but lets not make any fuss about it here. It is simply wrong to make generalization as many folks here. And it also depends on person of what background they were raised at. Hey guys can be both sensitive and emotional as well. Heck, I would have cried if I hit my mom accidentally as by the video.
