From the book Man Search for Meaning, the main character would be the author has been in a concentration camp and also survived it. But Besides his attitude, he also talks about Love being the only thing that is keeping him alive and not going insane and loss all his hope of getting out of the camp. And i actually agreed with him since besides attitude which only shows your emotions and behavior towards something. rather than telling yourselves that i have to survive and someday i will see my wife and children and we will all be sitting at beach relaxing and enjoying the sunset and stuff. Which i'm touched by his response.

Love can give someone power when he or she is suffering. In the book man search for meaning, him thinking about getting back together with his family gave him strength to hold onto his sufferings. It might be wrong and misleading sometimes but love actually gives one power to work for something or strength. I think if i were that man who was locked in the concentration camp, i will think about how much i love my family and they love me to go through all of sufferings.

I did my book project on 'the Tempest'. It also made me think of how love can overcome justice and lead to forgiveness. Yeah, but if you don't have anyone you love or care about, you might not try really hard to survive. Because we have our family and friends who support us, we are able to deal with sucky situations and move on.

I think other than the fact that Frankl was naturally optimistic, love and the thought of his wife was what kept him going. Because if he had nothing to live for, why would he try so hard? So I agree with him when he says that love transcends all things and can be a source of strength.
