We had this trial for a week now. And I'm sick of it. But anyways, I started to wonder if Hamlet was actually feeling sorry for Polonius and regretting what he has done. Because I'm on the defense team, I've been trying so hard to have Hamlet look like an innocent teenager who would never kill someone.
But do you guys think Hamlet truly feels bad for the old man, or do you think deep inside he's proud of himself for killing Polonius?
I personally think Hamlet was secretly happy with this incident. After he killed Polonius, he was closer to his plan of killing Claudius. If he really felt sorry, then he wouldn't even bother killing Claudius because Hamlet knows that murder can never be a solution to any sort of problems.

I honestly do not think Hamlet has room to think about Polonius. He is so into his revenge that he is willing to do everything he can to reach his goal. However, i do not think he is proud to kill Polonius since there was not anything between Polonius and Hamlet. Polonius was Hamlet's lover's father that he should feel sorry if he had time to actually think about it. I think Hamlet could have felt sorry if he had some room to refresh after he kill king Claudius.
