To anyone who was curious about the animation that was mentioned in class, here it is. Just take in mind that this animation is not a direct translation of The Divine Comedy. It shares themes and other traits, but it is by no means the same thing. I wanted to post this animation to paint a picture of the inferno that is presented by Dante. I think that the animation gives a very strong, very raw feeling of what it's like going through the nine circles of hell. Looking at a portrait of the hell that is being narrated through the story can add a lot of depth to the world and hopefully a little more immersion of Dante's Inferno.
DISCLAIMER: THE FOLLOWING ANIMATION INCLUDES: VIOLENCE, GORE, NUDITY, DISTURBING IMAGES. DO NOT WATCH THIS IF ANY OF THESE THINGS MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE.
Again, this is about 10% accurate with the Divine Comedy, do not watch it to replace the book. Watch it to see an image of the hell described in the book. That being said, it is really well made and I hope you enjoy it.

i am currently watching the video halfway, and connecting to hamlet, reading the scripts and watching the play for hamlet is different, and i can feel much deeper during the play, samething for Dante Inferno, watching the inferno gives me a better idea of again the theme, and individual characteristics

The animation is kind of gruesome for us to watch, but I think it portrays ideas and themes in Dante's Inferno well.

I agree with Joon. It does get a little too much, but I think it's important for us to know that there are different ways in interpreting the book. It's interesting to see how other people interpreted Dante's Inferno to come up with something like this.

Ew this is pretty gross... I kind of wish I didn't watch it... But I guess it gives me a bit of an idea of how Dante's inferno is supposed to be like. I imagined hell as a gruesome place so it kind of fits with what I had in mind while reading the cantos from the Inferno.

its interesting to see how people imagine hell but after seeoing this you can be kinda of brain shocked like me because there are little things that can seem that are not very important but have a very strong meaning the picture of hell

haha nice! I like this one better that the Dante's original story and the content. It's probably because of the modernized story. I'm not really a literature person so I think i'm referring this kind of story. Well people who are interested in animation, I prefer you watch this.

I think the video is gross, but I think I can now picture the hell that Dante was trying to paint.
