Summer plans? Good summer books?

I know all of you guys are super excited for summer break aka the last summer before we go off to college!

What plans do you guys have? Since this is an English discussion board, we should talk about literature haha Do you guys have any books you're planning on reading?

I'm taking a gap semester so I want to relax, learn computer coding online, maybe take a Korean class, and go to Sudan for a couple months. I also want to start reading bell hooks, read up on Sudanese history and politics, and I also want to read the piles of books on my bookshelf that I never got to.

How about you guys?

I will be flying back to California and preparing for my new life at college. And since I am moving back with my mom, i might spend a lot of time getting and setting up our house for our new start of life there. So i dont have any reading plan yet.

I want to make some plans before I go to college. I want to try taking a part time job at a cafe, I also want to get my driver's license over the summer vacation. Furthermore, I want to spend more time with my friends because we will be apart after the summer break.

I want to spend time with my family and also with friends who I had not met for a long time. Also, if possible I want to go on a trip with my family.

I think I'm going to spend most of my time with my family and friends before I leave for college. And for reading, I think I'm going to read some about time management because I really need to work on this before I leave for college

I plan to just spend a relaxing summer with my family and friends. I will probably go on little trips in Korea with them. I actually enjoy reading during my free time. I just never find the time to. I really want to read some good romance novels. Maybe something by Nicholas Sparks?

I'm planning to go to Albania for a mission trip, and I'm also going to New York before school starts because my sister's going to be there. I want to finish all the books that I couldn't finish before. Other than that, I guess I'll just be relaxing at home and working out to get in shape before college!

I didn't decide on reading any books yet. If I find something good, I guess I will read it. I think I might be working at a hagwon during the summer.

yes about summer break since it will be my last because we are all graduating so ... getting rdy for the future is what im interested and looking forward to. and MILITARY HERE I COME XD

Over the summer I am going to relax, go on a trip with my family, and hang out with friends. Also I want to get my driver's license and read some books that I have always wanted to read. I did not really decide which book I wanted to read but maybe fantasy novels

I'll read some books I guess. Probably whatever I get my hands on. I'm thinking about continuing reading the Game of Thrones series.

I bought some books as well for summer. I already read two, but I didn't really like them. I read Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, which was obviously a murder mystery. I usually like Agatha Christie's book very much, but this one was a disappointment. If you would like to read it still, I would be more than happy to lend it to you! I also read the room, which is about a woman being kidnapped for almost ten years and having a baby with the rapist. It's a really depressing book, but the little kid is telling the story which makes it easier to read... so yeah.
