So for my English project, I analyzed Koran and as I was studying it, I was quite surprised how similar it is to bible. I knew that they were Abrahamic religions but didn't know they were this similar..?
For example, in Koran, it says we should not be materialistic because what we possess here does not belong to us, it belongs to God. Therefore, we should share everything with people who have less to glorify God. This phrase reminded me of the Puritan culture, especially the poem that we studied last year, "Upon the burning of my house (?)"
Anyways, so my question is, can you see any connections between different religions?

I see many different connections. I learned about the connection between Buddhism and Hinduism. Before history class I didn't know that Buddhism was derived from Hinduism. Buddhism is basically the concepts of Hinduism without spiritual gods and no caste system.

I think there are many connections between different religions because everyone has similar expectations for religions. People usually want explanation for unexplainable or protection in life. For example, West African religions and Hinduism are similar in that there are many gods who represent many different things. There are also many ceremonies and prayers in both religions.

I can make connections between Buddhism and Christianity. They both teach not to be greedy and to forgive each other. Christianity do not value materialism because they believe that everything is made by god so we do not own them. In the bible it says do not envy others and do not revenge. Revenge continues to make revenge again so one must forgive.

Oh yes, very much. We all know that the three religions, Islam, Christianity and Jewish are all part of the Abrahamic religion. The followers, all, believe in one God and is considered to be monotheistic.
