I agree that we are cruel to animals. But on the other hand, however, it is undeniable that we cannot live without animal meat; and thus we must kill them anyways. So I think we shouldn't at least be that cruel to animals and instead, we should at least feel thankful and appreciate. And we should notice animals' pain when we are just having fun with their circus shows.

I think it is wrong to use animals at circus and Zoo. However, as mentioned above, human being need animal meat to live on (some can as vegetarian, but most people can't). It is natural that human being killing animals for their lives, because human beings are at the top of the food chain. We should always appreciate animal's death though.

Have you ever tasted a steak? Its deliciousssss. But anyways, thats besides the point here i guess. I think that circuses are unnecessary. Forcing animals to do things for entertainment seems terrible. But also, its not that simple fact alone, because thats what we do to dogs. Its the fact that they are treated so horribly too. But zoos, on the other hand, aren't bad, unless they don't treat the animals right. Its a way for endangered species to be able to reproduce safely. As for them as food, I'm not against that. We are at the top of the food pyramid for a reason, why not take advantage of that fact?

We are humans, it's in our nature, it's in our mechanism to kill and consume them. You just can't help it. I don't know why vegetarians don't like them but guess what there is no harm eating them. Rather it gives you necessary elements for your body to stay healthy and strong as well. I do oppose about the fact of using animals as a source of entertainment because to me, its just a waste of time. Why don't watch movies or plays etc. instead of going to zoos where it smells and might get the risk of having some disease or something.....

I agree that sometime people can be cruel to animals. But people were made to have dominion over other animals. If we don't, what's the difference between us and animals? I think it's an overreaction to say that we should treat animals as equals.
Like this lady that I read an article about, before she died, she gave 8 million dollars to her son and 22 million dollars for her chiwawa. I don't get people like that. What good is the money for a dog that doesn't even know that it has money? I'm not saying it's wrong to take care of animals. It's just that there's a certain line to it.

I agree with Joanne. It's only natural for us to use animals for food. On another note, I hate the fact that animals are used for entertainment and experiments.

I think that animals are here for human benefit but at the same time we don't have the right to abuse them. I don't agree with zoos and circuses because they're unnatural. But some zoos rescue animals so that's fine. We can eat animals and use them for our benefit but we're not doing it the right way.

In the story, the gods didn't favor the animals because they couldn't praise the gods. That's why the gods wanted to create the perfect humans so they could praise the gods with a verbal language. So I think animals were created for us to consume and take care of since we're the most complex creatures. Plus, if we didn't eat cows, pigs, and other animals, there would be an overflow and that would be harmful for the food chain. But we shouldn't overly exploit them because they are living creatures with feelings. And I believe zoos and circuses are unnecessary because we are taking them out of their original habitat and using them for entertainment. The only wild animals we should care for are the ones that are hurt or endangered.

Well..I don't think we should harass them. But I do think some kills are necessary for ourselves. We still need to eat and survive. However apart from the necessary kills, I do agree with you that animals don't deserve to be harrassed.

Strong takes over the weak. I mean offically we are stronger than the animals. We actually take over the animals. But i mean we need sacrifices and we need animals to life. But we have to treat them as well as we treat people. If we don't treat them like us and use them as sacrifice i mean i strongly disagree with it.

i think animals should be eaten by us but we should not like hunt them or torture them for other reasons. we dont need to kill them and make coats. making food out of them is enough. they can be used as transportation too but they too have emotions so we should really care and love them.
