Does history matter?

Im the kind of guy that believes mankind should focus on the present rather than the past. To me, I think history is not really that significant in our daily lives. Of course we can connect of daily lives to history, but i don't think it is to an extent where it is a subject we cannot live without it. I do think that it is good to learn history because we can learn how the past affects the present, but when looking at certain terms, I don't think history plays the pivitol role in society. History, is without doubt very interesting though.

I personally don't really like history but I believe that history is important subject to learn. History has big influence on the society today. By learning the history, we learn the mistake and try not to repeat them. Everything in this world is made based on the past. By learning the past, we are able to make a better future.
